Rooibos Teas
Rooibos is made from the leaf of the aspalathus linearis plant, a small shrub native to the Cederberg Mountains of the South Western Cape of South Africa. It is naturally caffeine free and has a delightfully sweet, honeyed flavour. The liquor is reputed to help with indigestion and is used as a remedy for cholic, especially in infants. Rooibos is delicious taken black, or with milk, and is perfectly suited with a squeeze of honey before bed.
